Winter Mountain Dream Revisited

Well known for it’s calm water reflections in summer, Dream Lake shows a much colder side in winter.  I really liked how the ripples in the ice cast reflections much like the ripples on water would look in summer – only with a frozen winter twist.

Star Hunting At Loveland Pass

The darkness of a new moon reveals a spectacular view of the stars in winter from a high mountain pass road.
